Description: In the noisy world of social media, your audience can experience information overload. Many nonprofits struggle with successfully conveying their story and impact to their intended audiences.

Jim Connell, President at Craftsman Media, will discuss his approach to successful social media marketing. Jim will share the importance of gaining clarity around your organization’s goals and expectations for social media, share pro tips for popular platforms and discuss how nonprofit organizations can cut through the noise to clearly showcase their mission and impact.

 About the Presenter: Jim Connell is President at Craftsman Media, a social media marketing firm in Libertyville, IL. Jim helps small and medium sized businesses think through how and what they should do to cut through the noise and build their business online. Craftsman Media creates innovative content, including video, graphics, and websites.

Jim is also a founder of Craftsman Cafe, a nonprofit that produces concerts and other artistic experiences to help local nonprofits raise money. Craftsman Cafe has produced over 20 shows and has raised $500,000.

Jim serves as a Village of Libertyville Trustee and is an adjunct professor at College of Lake County, teaching Social Media in Business.
